Image database to support particle identification and enable CNN based application

Intention: Samples of pollen or other air-borne particles from all over the world can be easily shared.
Images from digitization of these samples are made available in a Cloud based data base.

The access to the database is enabled by an Application/Program designed for PC and Laptops having a 62 bit system and providing a screen with 1920 x 1080 resolution.

  • Open this zip-file and start the msi-file inside. The window of the Defender may ask for agreement as well as the Administrator later. When the installation aid will appears it depends on the speed of the IT connection, how many time it needs, before an action is visible and you are asked about some entries.

  • An WWP Icon will appear on the Desktop.

  • WWP.exe starts the App and provides access to the data base.

This offers numerous benefits: Archive system, evaluation separate from microscope and laboratory, sophisticated and extended evaluation, standardization of reporting system.
Our service of digitizing will make this features available to all, who are interested in using it for decent number of samples. Help in analysis is offered at specialized and limited degree.

This way of sample digitization opens the opportunity to share samples from all over the world to other researchers. The intention is to build a Cloud based Data Base WorldWidePollen.
The series of images may be searched for date and location by GPS-Data, identified particles, kind of staining and imaging.
